It has a lovely fold over collar lined with a tiny ruffle that extends down the button placket. It also has the ruffle along the cuffs. It has a nice long length. It began after Rebecca moved home to New Zealand in 2020 with her husband, artist Wayne Pate and their three children. We love this collection as it feels like a fresh take on our favorite antique European blouses and dresses. The pin tucks, the cotton lace, the pleats at the sleeves - such lovely details with a feminine quality. And how fun to think of the process of creating a new collection amidst a lot of change and new (old) surroundings. Sometimes those moments bring us to our best!
